During my recent stay at Palam Hills, I found it to be a compelling option for travelers seeking a combination of luxury and value in Leh. Located just a 12-minute walk from the main market, the hotel provides a peaceful retreat away from the bustle, surrounded by a beautifully cultivated vegetable garden. The spacious rooms are well-maintained, offering essential amenities such as free Wi-Fi and hot water - a true comfort after a long day exploring. The large sitting area in our triple room, which included both a double and a single bed, enhanced our overall experience, although I found the mattress a tad firm for my liking. Noteworthy is the attentive staff, who are both polite and responsive. The on-site coffee shop adds a delightful touch, and the neighboring DONTANGS restaurant is a culinary gem. With its inviting atmosphere and decent breakfast options, Palam Hills strikes a fine balance between cost and luxury, making it a wise choice for discerning travelers.
